On Our Own but Not Alone

This is a film about four women who fight their way against hardships, injustice and trauma to establish their rightful place in society. They emerge from their struggles as social change agents, symbols of independence to be respected. These women are not goddesses to be revered and worshipped, but icons to be emulated, examples for others like them, to draw inspiration and courage from.
